I honestly don’t hate any one pairing. I dislike Davis/Kari and Matt/Mimi as romantic ships, but I respect it and love their platonic friendships.
But, yeah, Matt and Mimi as a couple is one of those things were I just shake my head at fandom. Looks and singing voices aside… they would be awesome friends, but I just can’t picture Matt being able to handle Mimi in large doses. At all. At all. He has patience, sure, but Mimi can lack tact a lot of times. I just… I can’t.
Davis/Kari I mainly dislike because it ruins Davis’ character, it ruins Kari’s character, and despite the fourth movie, in my mind, Davis finally accepted that Kari didn’t like him in 02 in that one episode that I cannot remember right now. So yeah.
Oh and I am not a fan of Joe/Jun at all and it has a lot to do with the fact that in the show she likes his brother and she’d probably kill him.
